A Visit from Grandpa

Last week, Joseph's grandpa (the one he was named after) came down for a visit.

Joseph's cousins are moving from L.A. to Palo Alto right after Christmas, so Grandpa came down to see Joseph and pick up all of our moving boxes so that Joseph's aunt doesn't have to dumpster dive for moving boxes anymore.

The best part about visits from Grandpa is seeing how much the two Joseph's genuinely enjoy being around each other. Both of their faces light up when they see each other, and they come up with great ways to make each other laugh.

Joseph was thrilled to see his Grandpa when he got here. After taking him on a tour of his new place, Joseph also played the "what's that?" game with his entire animal book, and Grandpa performed his role quite well through two readings of the book before recognizing that the game never ended.

While Grandpa was here we also went out for smoothies, which Joseph never turns down.

LOL Thanks again for the boxes. I was able to teach Kate the fine art of dumpster diving... Which might not have been a good thing. Seeing as we all know she's going to end up in therapy for hoarding Taco Bell wrappers :)

Can't wait to play the "whats dat" game with him everyday all day.
