Obligatory Santa Pose/Post

Santa visited a Christmas party at our church the other night. Joseph doesn't have a clue who Santa is, and our efforts to teach Joseph that Santa says "Ho! Ho! Ho!" have not been nearly as successful as Thanksgiving's spectacular "gobble gobble." Still, we felt compelled to sit Joseph on Santa's lap.

We couldn't really get him to smile, he was too distracted by all of the kids who were screaming that they didn't want to sit on Santa's lap. But most other kids his age freaked out about Santa whereas he remained calm, so we can't complain.

Also note the penguin on Joseph's shirt -- at which he'd point to from time to time and quack.

he was always taught that ho's were bad, so he probably just doesn't want to be inappropriate.

I would love to see you guys! Let me know when you'll be in town. Joseph is no longer a baby--he's so cute!

He's smiling more in this picture than any eighteen-month-old should. So cute!

What a happy Christmas I had seeing you and Todd again and meeting Joseph Atticus---who I also think is destined for greatness! With parents like you two how can he miss? My favorite word now is "Zat"
Take care of each other and keep up the good parenting--Love you forever, Grandma
