Strawberry Fields (Forever)

A few weeks ago we went strawberry picking. Once we convinced Joseph that the yellow strawberries were not in fact desirable, things went well. He had a great time with his cousins, and enjoyed running as far down the rows and away from us as possible (luckily Uncle Matt was there to jump over the rows and apprehend him).

I wondered in the first picture who the little boy in the green striped shirt was--my grandkids are growing up! I especially love the strawberry-smeared face shot. Looks like it was a fun day.

All that is missing here are pictures of yours, Kiersten's, and Matt's strawberry stained faces. Then my life is complete.

But seriously, rows and rows of fresh strawberries ready for the pickin, and eatin? And 4 beautiful children to share them with? Why aren't we all moving to CA right now?

One of my favorite perks of birthing babies is that the grandparents come to town. You are so luckly that your sisters came, too. Where was Kiersten in that picture?

Your Easter yellow and blue is darling. Your babies certainly look like siblings.

Strawberry fields forever. Have you seen the pectin (at Walmart) that is a powder, you only have to add sugar and berries, then mix it four three minutes. The end result is freezer jam. I've made three batches in the last month, because it is so easy. Just a thought to keep all those berries from going bad.

Missed you in Utah.
