So was Audrey.
We had a church picnic at the beach. We anticipated it would be chilly so we didn't take swimsuits. We should have known that Joseph would insist on swimming anyway -- we turned around and he had stripped down. So we put on a pull-up and he had a blast.
Joseph is officially potty-trained. It was a long process but he is enjoying the "laptop" he got as a reward.
Meanwhile, Audrey's learning to drive.
She's also learning to eat finger foods.
And to get into mischief.

my co worker just saw these pictures and exclaimed "that baby is not real." she is just that unbelievably cute.
she is real, but it is hard to believe. i am constantly amazed at how gorgeous she is. between the mounds of curly hair, the big blue eyes with mile-long eyelashes, the dimples, and the tiny little teeth ... not to mention how unbelievably happy she is ALL THE TIME and how she just beams and grins and laughs at everyone ... it is a little crazy. she melts my heart every day.
in some ways she makes me want to have another baby right now because she is SO MUCH FUN, but then i also secretly worry that no baby could be this cute, and then would that baby feel bad???
that is precisely why i am not having anymore kids. your baby ruined all our chances at enjoying motherhood and loving our babies.
She is NOT REAL. Seriously. (And Joseph is freaking adorable, too.)
That girl has a serious case of perma-grin! And Joseph looks so much older in the beach picture--no more baby chubs. Must have all gone to Miss Audrey. Beautiful babies.
