Audrey's first 2 weeks

Audrey has now been out and about for two weeks. Here's the low down on what she's been up to:

Audrey

Met/charmed 3 of her 4 grandparents:

 

 

Bathed:

Bonded with her brother:

Obviously, there's also one other thing she's done a lot of:

 

We won't go into any detail, but because we've now got two in diapers, we are now the proud owners of a three-bedroom changing table.

Joseph

Overall, Joseph has dealt pretty well with having a new baby in the house. He loves giving his sister hugs, and he's gotten really good at fetching things for us when we're sitting down holding her.

He likes to read stories to his sister:

 

He's very concerned about his sister's well-being. Throughout the day he'll come up to her and ask, "Audrey, are you happy?" And whenever she grunts or squeaks he asks us what she's saying.



He loves to come find her when he wakes up in the morning or when he comes home from some errand or adventure.



So far, there have only been two occasions where he has asked if we could put Audrey back inside of mommy's tummy, so we think we're off to a pretty good start.

We've only made one trip out in the car (to the doctor's), but we hope this is a hint of roadtrips to come:
