There are a number of factors that make this a good match-up, but our house is fired up for this game for one reason above all others: Joseph's closest buddy Ashton just happens to be a HUGE Oregon State fan (and maybe Ashton's parents graduated from OSU too).
Joseph prepared a little message for Ashton (who incidentally happens to be turning 2 today):
(Joseph came up with the "knock 'em over" line himself--I'm not sure how he came up with that; his line was supposed to be "stomp on them")
Hopefully, Ashton has had a very happy birthday, because he won't be smiling come December 22!
Go Cougars!

It's difficult to feel intimidated when the person threatening to "knock us over" falls over mid-threat:) We're working on our rebuttal. Stay tuned. But don't be too threatened. We'd like to keep up the relationship so you'll invite us over to watch the game.
I hope BYU and Georgetown never meet in the NCAA tournament or this kid will be seriously conflicted At least I hope he would be...if he's not, Erin will have a lot of explaining to do.
The Elmo giggle throws everything off. Or makes everything better. Can't decide.
Max Hall could use some trash-talk lessons from Joseph! Apparently U students are sporting red t-shirts that say "Max Hall hates me." Joseph is a bit more diplomatic and a whole lot more cute! Nice coaching, dad.
